Please join us as Dean Gilligan interviews multibillionaire Michael Dell, the founder and CEO of Dell, Inc., on the many successes of his career. Learn about how the University of Texas’ own alum developed Dell, which began in a small apartment right here on campus, into one of the most respected multinational technology corporations in the world. Through his insight, students can gain advice on how to lead successful careers.

The interview will be followed by an open-floor question-and-answer period. This event is open to all University of Texas at Austin students and staff, as well as the general public. Wednesday, November 11th – Bowling Tournament at Texas Union Underground: Email dsp-cs@dsptexas.com to sign up your team of 4. $10 per person, 100% of proceeds go directly to Any Baby Can/Candlelighters. Free Tshirts, food, and fun!

Thursday, November 12th – Benefit Party at QUA on 4th and Lavaca: $10 for 18+, No cover 21+. 100% of proceeds go directly to Any Baby Can/Candlelighters.

Turn an Email into a Calendar Appointment

So often, appointments are scheduled through email. I find that I often want the text of an email to be in the body of my appointment. That way, when my reminder goes off, and I have no idea what the appointment is about, I can click Open Item, and see the details. But copying and pasting the contents of an email into a calendar appointment is more work than I want to do. Fortunately, there is a faster way to put the contents of an email into an appointment.
