The McCombs Salem Center for Policy is collaborating with international groups to offer three faculty-mentored fellowships during Summer 2021.

These internships will offer a stipend of $2,500, plus housing in the host country if COVID policies permit travel. Otherwise, the internships will be conducted remotely. For full job descriptions and how to apply visit: https://salemcenter.org

OECD — Financial Markets Division Internship  — Paris, France 

The OECD is a global economic forum working with 36 member countries and more than 100 emerging and developing economies. An intern will contribute to policy solutions through research projects like developing best practices of infrastructure investment, analyzing performance of sustainable finance, and collecting debt data related to low-income countries. 

World Federation of Exchanges — International Policy Internship — London, UK

The WFE is the global industry group for exchanges and clearing houses around the world. An intern will conduct financial market policy research in a variety of areas such as the impact of climate change on markets, the role of retail investors in pandemic markets, and FinTech developments. 

International Organization of Securities Commissions — International Policy Internship — Madrid, Spain 

An intern will work with IOSCO’s economic team on financial technology to support IOSCO’s mission to develop, promote, and implement internationally recognized standards in securities markets. Issues could include the tokenization of assets, crypto currencies, the impact of quantum computing, and BigTech in finance.
