TRS IMD 2016 Summer Internship Program:

  • Full time, 10 weeks, competitive pay
  • Comprised of students from different universities and from undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs.
  • Project-based with a direct impact on the organization:
    • Each student will select individual projects from the following areas: Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Funds, Internal Equity (“stock picking”), Asset Allocation, Risk Management, Research, Long-Oriented Managers, Energy and Natural Resources and Operations.
    • Every student will also be assigned to a group project of the Chief Investment Officer’s choosing.

What they’re looking for:

  • Degrees in BBA, MBA, MPA, MSF and PhD
  • Desire to pursue a CFA charter
  • Interest in developing knowledge of investment concepts and terminology
  • Interest in developing knowledge of statistical concepts, methods, and models, and application to investment decisions
  • Demonstrated skill in using spreadsheet, statistical, database and other business software and applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to condense complex information that is accurate, timely and based on sound judgment

Many top interns have received offers and are now successful members of the IMD team. Information Session attendance will be considered in the interview process.
