Jeff Bezos endorsed higher corporate taxes for infrastructure, and one might consider this interesting news from these perspectives:

1. Will this signal a return to the near break-even reinvestment that minimizes Amazon taxes regardless of the tax rate?

2. Is a higher tax rate an effective barrier to entry—while a larger tax rate may make it harder for less established competitors to generate sufficient Net Income/Free Cash Flow for shareholders, Amazon will be fine.

3. Is this a positive NPV project for Amazon (the benefits from more infrastructure to their operations far outweigh the costs of a higher rate).”
