Texas senior guard Shay Holle earns Academic All-America Team honors while excelling in both basketball and academics. She’s just the second Texas women’s basketball player to receive this recognition. Holle, who holds a finance degree from McCombs School of Business, is pursuing a master’s in strategic communications after completing her undergraduate degree in three years. Despite her academic achievements, she made significant contributions on the court, making 26 starts and averaging 7.6 points per game.
