Milestones for Texas McCombs alumni

Class Note: James C. “Rad” Weaver, BBA ’98

James C. “Rad” Weaver, BBA ’98, has been reappointed to The University of Texas System Board of Regents by Governor Greg Abbott. Since February 2017, James C. “Rad” Weaver, has been an active member of The University of Texas System Board of Regents, assuming the position of vice chairman. Prior to this, Governor Abbott appointed him as the presiding officer of the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority.

Class Note: Robert Gauntt, BBA ’86 & MBA ’90

Robert Gauntt, BBA ’86 & MBA ’90, co-founder of Capital Creek Partners, trustee of The University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO), and a former trustee of the Texas Teachers Retirement System, has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to The University of Texas System Board of Regents. Gauntt joins Vice Chairs Janiece Longoria and James C. “Rad” Weaver in this appointment.
