BASF and UT Austin are issuing this unique challenge to all full-time students and asking them to submit ideas on how to lessen the environmental impact of football gamedays at The University of Texas.

Students are asked to outline the problem, offer solutions on how to lessen the impact on fans, and provide a detailed blueprint for the execution of the idea. Students are also encouraged to submit a video (three minutes or less) that demonstrates the team’s personality and further supports the proposed solution.

With $25,000 in prize money on the line, we encourage you to think innovatively and sustainably to solve this challenge. A panel of BASF and UT Austin representatives will judge the submissions at a special judging event in March and the winning team will be recognized at the Texas Longhorns spring football game on April 19.

First Place: $20,000
Second Place: $5,000
Third Place: UT/BASF merchandise kit

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday February 3.
