Learn a new language.
Improve your foreign language skills.
At no cost to you.

The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at McCombs is pleased to now offer language learning in cooperation with LiveMocha, a commercial online language learning community. LiveMocha provides instructional materials in 38 languages and a platform for speakers to interact with and help each other learn new languages.

Students will receive a one-year subscription to Livemocha’s services at no cost – it’s just a matter of signing up. Students can enroll in any of the 38 languages that are offered. The services include specific courses, online materials, interaction with Livemocha’s online community, and video-conferencing practice with native speakers from almost anywhere in the world.

How to enroll?
Visit www.livemocha.com to get a feel for the program, languages, options, and courses.  Then, contact Orlando Kelm, Associate Director of business Language Education at CIBER to receive a code to subscribe: orkelm@austin.utexas.edu.
