As the senior manager, you will be directly influential in building the firm’s client base and maximizing profits. You’ll lead a team of motivated accountants and provide a visible face to the community through service initiatives.

Technical Duties

•    Initiate and prepare individual, corporate, partnership, estate/trust, and non-profit organization tax returns
•    Provide technical and instructive review of tax returns prepared by junior accountants
•    Research income tax matters for clients and prepare communication regarding findings
•    Prepare correspondence to respond to routing IRS inquiries, and advocate for clients in response to IRS audits.
•    Assist on audit, review, and compilation engagements as needed
•    Assist partners in litigation support services and other technical projects as needed

Administrative Duties

•    Evaluate and implement of tax processing systems, including software set-up, workflow design, and billing
•    Determine CPE needs for self and tax staff
•    Evaluate the profitability the firm’s tax services
•    Assist partners in the assessment of employee performance

Other Duties

•   Initiate and participate in community outreach activities
