Goldman Sachs is offering an accelerated application process for candidates interested in 2012 Americas summer analyst opportunities within the Global Investment Research (GIR), Investment Banking (IBD), Investment Management (IMD) and Securities divisions.

Process and Eligibility
This process offers early application deadlines for sophomores and juniors who have already selected their locations and divisions of interest in advance of our on-campus presentations and interviews. Participants in this process may have the opportunity to secure internship positions in the fall before our summer internship recruiting begins. If you are not selected to interview, your application will remain active and be considered at your school’s application deadline.

How to Apply
Complete your online application on goldmansachs.com/careers by 11:59pm on any one of the application deadlines noted below indicating the appropriate application code. If you apply without the correct code, your application will be considered at your school’s on-campus application deadline. Your application will receive full consideration regardless of which application deadline that you select. You are only able to apply once for the 2012 recruiting year and will not be able to make additional changes to your application once submitted. You may express interest in up to three locations and divisions and enter up to two application codes if you are interested in other Goldman Sachs programs.

-If you are unsure as to which group or subdivision that you prefer within one of our divisions, select “General” and you will be considered for all groups hiring for that division.
-If you will be studying abroad during the Spring 2012 semester and will be unavailable to interview on campus at that time, use code ABROAD12.
-If you are interested in a division or region not participating in our accelerated process, please visit goldmansachs.com/careers for additional information on their recruiting process. Please note in order to be considered, you must apply by the earlier deadline and your application will be considered by that division or region at the appropriate timeline.

*Interested in the Scholarship for Excellence (SFE)? – The SFE program is awarded to Black, Latino or Native American sophomores and juniors in recognition of outstanding achievement and community service. If you are interested in applying, please include the SFE code in your online application. Additional instructions on how to apply for the scholarship are available at goldmansachs.com/careers (required step).
