Job Description
The Corporate Tax Administration Group will be hiring five Interns to work full-time for Summer 2012.Candidates must be available from Monday, May 21, 2012 through Friday, August 10, 2012.                   

The interns will be responsible for assisting the Tax Administration Group with Federal and State Income Tax Compliance at The Walt Disney Company.  The internships will be located in Glendale, California.  We will be offering some temporary relocation benefits; inters will be responsible for finding their own housing.

REQUIREMENTS
Only students, who are actively enrolled in a college or university, working towards a degree, will be considered for this opportunity.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred; in addition to currently being enrolled in graduate program with an Accounting or Tax focus. We will also accept strong candidates who are working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Prior professional internship experience within tax or accounting is helpful.  Basic knowledge of federal and state income tax laws and regulations is highly desired.
  • Candidates must be hard working, self-starters, performance-oriented and able to meet the demands of a diverse business environment in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.  Excellent analytical and organization skills are essential.
  • Candidates must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Must be available to work Monday, May 21, 2012 through Friday, August 10, 2012.
