Specific Duties: Weaver and Tidwell is seeking two Advisory Associates (Dallas and Fort Worth) who will be responsible for learning and understanding general accounting and internal control concepts, financial statement close process and how internal controls impact financial statement preparation and disclosure.

Essential Requirements:

• This candidate should possess a basic familiarity with GAAP, GAAS and IIA standards.

• CPA, CPA candidate, CIA, CIA candidate preferred with 0-2 years or more experience in public accounting and/or industry experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; master’s degree preferred.

• Preferred Track: Audit or MIS track
