KS WELI is hiring for a  Partnerships Support Assistant Intern who will support and coordinate KS WELI’s engagement efforts, foster strategic partnerships on campus and abroad, and create opportunities for the KS WELI community to engage with peers and institutions around the world. Join the KS WELI Student Board on August 9th for a panel all about how to cultivate your community featuring student leaders from universities across the nation. Our panelists representing Georgetown University, University of Houston, Rice University, and the University of Texas at Austin, will share valuable insights on building and fostering a supportive community for women in entrepreneurship, and how to equip yourself with the necessary skills and resources to forge your own path and cultivate a thriving community. Early admission for the Founder Institute Core program Fall cohort closes Sunday, July 30th. The Founder Institute Core program is a 14-week in-person program in partnership with the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Opportunity Austin, and Dell Technologies. Apply now and learn more.

 

Applications are now open for Impact Corps, a program of The Impact Factory that pairs UT Austin graduate and undergraduate student teams with community organizations and social enterprises for the fall and spring semesters. Students help partners address a challenge or meet a new need, while gaining real-world, hands-on experience.  Impact Corps is open to any UT Austin sophomore, junior or senior or UT Austin graduate student.  Learn more and apply here by Tuesday, August 1!Save the date for KS WELI’s 4th Birthday Party on Sunday, September 24 from 10 am – 12 pm.

 

Join KSWELI to celebrate the student designers and learn about their experience designing Kassie Statement Earring! Come to the Kendra Scott Flagship store on August 2nd, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm to be a part of the celebration. No registration required! 20% of the proceeds from the student-designed Kassie Statement Earring will go back to the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurship Leadership Institute (KS WELI) at UT Austin to empower the next generation of courageous, creative women leaders and grow the number of women-owned and women-led businesses!
