TVL Practicum Info Sessions and Application

Hone the important skills needed to successfully take ideas to market in our unique graduate course, the TVL Practicum. JBTVL will be hosting a series of in-person and virtual info sessions to talk with graduate students interested in entrepreneurship, consulting with startups, building products that solve important market needs, and working in high-growth environments.

The TVL Practicum is a cross-campus elective course that teaches graduate students how to build, consult and work with startups. Multi-disciplinary teams of grad students work through a project-driven curriculum that immerses them in research, teaches about business strategy and terminology, and provides a framework for strategically thinking through business problems to directly deliver positive outcomes for Texas-based startups. These startup companies engage with the students as “consulting clients” providing them with real-world, hands-on experience for course credit!

Both in-person and virtual sessions are available to learn how participating in this elective can help graduate students expand their knowledge base, their networks, and become strong leaders in their future careers. We will have Q&A in each session for students to get an opportunity to interact with JBTVL staff and have their questions answered. Register today!
