Description:  The Wal-Mart Tax group is one of the largest on the globe.  This group extends from Compliance to Effective Tax Rate to International M & A. As Walmart conducts business in Argentina, Brazil, China and now, South Africa, our tax responsibilities are complex and hold diversity unparalleled by most any company or public accounting firms.  Walmart is one of the largest land holders in the nation, making the handling of property tax a priority.  Tax is a highly visible department that is critical to the finance department of Walmart.  With the completion of the intern program and an exceptional work performance, the Corporate Tax intern has the opportunity to move into a permanent role in any of the above mentioned areas and even beyond.
