Longhorns: Want to live, learn, and intern in Washington, D.C.?

The Archer Fellowship Program provides undergraduate students from across The University of Texas System with a unique opportunity to explore their interest in public policy and/or public service in our nation’s capital. Earn in-residence UT credit for coursework and gain hands-on work experience in an internship of your choosing. Archer Fellows live together in condominiums near Capitol Hill and build lasting friendships and professional connections with each other. Substantial funding is available!

Want to learn more? Attend our final information session and application Q&A on Tuesday, January 25 from 5-6:30 p.m. on Zoom (RSVP here).

Ready to apply? The 2022-2023 Archer Fellowship Program application is now open! Given the current spike in COVID-19 cases across the State of Texas, we understand that this has been a challenging time for our campus communities, students, and their families. For this reason, we have extended the application deadline for fall 2022 and spring 2023 from February 15 to March 1, 2022, at 11:59 P.M. (CST).
