4Y, 5Y, and tMPAs: AICPA Study of Professional Skepticism
4th Year, 5th Year, and traditional MPAs:
The AICPA is currently conducting a unique research study that could inform enhancements to the Uniform CPA Examination on the assessment of professional skepticism and needs your help.
Your participation is requested for a field test (or try out) of several new question formats that may be incorporated into future examinations. If you agree to participate you will be asked to complete an online field test that requires approximately two hours of time and will take place between April 19 and April 30. You may take the test at any time during the field test period. The AICPA is offering a $25 honorarium for your participation.
If you would like to sign-up for this field test, please provide your contact information through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AICPA2016
You must sign up by April 6 in order to participate in the field test.
On or around April 18, ProExam will send each student volunteering to participate in the field test two links—one to the field test and one to a survey about their test taking experience. To participate in the field test, you must be able to complete the test in one sitting. Before beginning the test, you will be required to agree to a confidentiality statement regarding the field test content.
Your individual performance on the field test will not be reported to the AICPA or any other group, although group results will be used to evaluate the utility of the questions.
If you have questions, please contact Mariya Deuel at ProExam (AICPA’s contractor for the study) at mdeuel@proexam.org.
