University-wide Commencement Ceremony
The University-wide Commencement Ceremony of The University of Texas at Austin is held each spring to mark the completion of another academic year and to celebrate the cumulative accomplishment of the distinguished community of graduates of The University of Texas at Austin.
Graduating MPA students are invited to participate in the University-wide Commencement Ceremony on Saturday evening, May 18.
Sanya Richards-Ross, four-time Olympic gold medalist and UT alumna, will serve as the Commencement Speaker for the graduating class of 2013.
Degree candidates participating in the evening Commencement on May 18 are required to present a ticket when lining up for the Grand Procession. Tickets will be available beginning Monday, May 6, at the Texas Performing Arts Box Office and the Frank Erwin Center Box Office. Tickets are for degree candidates only and are free of charge. No tickets are required for guests. Seating for guests is on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are not available by phone. They must be picked up in person by presenting a UT ID.
Procession tickets may be picked up at the following locations beginning Monday, May 6:

Special hours Friday, May 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
