Vista Equity Partners is hosting an Information Session for all McCombs students on Tuesday, January 24.  Vista will be interviewing later in the semester for varying roles within portfolio companies as well as at the fund level.

 

Vista Equity Partners is a leading private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled businesses.  The firm was founded in 2000 and has over $6 billion in committed capital.  Vista has offices in San Francisco and Chicago and recently opened an Austin office that serves as the firm’s headquarters.

 

In collaboration with the McCombs MBA Venture Fellows, Vista will be presenting an overview of recent trends in the private equity industry followed by a Q&A. Since the firm is new to Austin, the purpose of this session is introduce the firm to the UT community and give MBA, BBA and MPA students the opportunity to network with some of Vista’s investment professionals.  Vista will also be discussing potential job opportunities, both at the fund level and across the various functional groups at Vista’s portfolio companies.
