A number of employers have indicated that they have full-time recruiting needs, and we will soon be referring them to the  MPA Spring 2011 Full-Time Resume Book that we are currently compiling. If you are seeking a full-time job and are planning to graduate in May or August 2011, MPA Career Services needs to hear from you!

If you are still seeking employment and would like to be included in the resume book, please update your Offer Track profile and complete all of the steps below by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 28.

1. Review the 4 minute resume book tutorial at http://new.mccombs.utexas.edu/MPA/Traditional-MPA/MPA-Career-Services.aspx.

2. Log into On-Campus Recruiting by going to http://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/career/mpa/ and then clicking on “On-Campus Recruiting” in the right pane.

3. Update all information in your Profile, including details in the following tabs: Personal Information, Academic Information, Privacy and MPA Info.

4. Upload an updated version of your MPA resume following the required format. Note that the required format for fifth-year and traditional MPAs are slightly different.

5. Email peermpa@mccombs.utexas.edu with “include in resume book” as the subject line and confirm that you have completed the steps above.

6. OPTIONAL: If you would like help creating an effective resume, please attend walk-in hours with an MPA peer career consultant (PCC). Walk-in hours have been extended for the week of April 25.
