The McCombs BBA/MPA Alumni Advisory Board and its Student Interaction Committee are focused on working directly with BBA/MPA students to prepare them for success as future business leaders and proud future alums of the McCombs School.  After a successful first event in the fall semester of 2010, the Alumni Advisory Board is launching its second Office Hours event: “Office Hours with McCombs BBA/MPA Alumni – Spring 2011” on Friday, April 29, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in the CBA Events Room (CBA 3.304).  Refreshments will be provided.

Meet with and learn from members of the McCombs BBA/MPA Alumni Advisory Board:

  • Q&A on career preparation and personal industry experiences from a diverse alumni group
  • Give feedback on how McCombs Alumni can best support YOU as a student
  • Learn more about the Rising Star Leadership Award for May 2012 graduating BBA/MPA seniors

Some McCombs professors are offering extra credit for attendance at the Office Hours event; please check with your professors for details.  The Alumni Board would greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing this event with your respective student organization groups and peers to reach as many McCombs students as possible for this unique interactive opportunity.

The McCombs BBA/MPA Alumni Advisory Board leads a network of 67,000 McCombs alums, one of the largest alumni bases of any business program in the world.  The Board oversees strategic initiatives at McCombs, encourages alumni involvement and giving and strives to make the MPA and undergraduate experience better for current and future students.  The Board is comprised of 29 at-large members, who are leaders in the business world throughout North America and who each have a passion to give back and make McCombs a better place.  Current initiatives of the Board include fundraising for the BBA Alumni Endowed Excellence Fund and administering the Rising Star Award for outstanding young alumni and the Rising Star Leadership Award for outstanding student leaders.
