PwC’s summer leadership programs provide students with an opportunity to experience the challenges, the excitement, and the camaraderie of PwC life.  It is an opportunity for students to continue to actively learn about themselves, the accounting profession, and PwC.     

These programs will include interaction with professionals, from associates to partners and principals in all lines of service (Assurance, Tax, and Advisory).  They will also include a community service component, team building activities and breakout sessions designed to provide students with the valuable tools for building a road map to the business world.  This is an excellent opportunity for students to reaffirm their career objectives and become better acquainted with PwC.  In addition, those students who are invited to attend a PwC Leadership Adventure Program will have the opportunity to learn about internship opportunities with the Firm in advance of the normal intern recruiting cycle.

This summer PwC will host the following programs*:

National Leadership Adventure Program – July 18 – 21, 2011 in Chicago, IL

Market Leadership Adventure Programs – Various cities and dates.

*Applicants will be considered for both leadership opportunities, but can only attend one program.  Market Leadership Programs take place in most major markets/cities. During the on-campus interview process, the recruiter will discuss which program may be more appropriate, based upon qualifications and the student’s summer schedule.

Qualifications
Student should have demonstrated leadership capabilities and preferably be a sophomore in a four-year degree program or a sophomore/junior in a five-year degree program.  The program is not open to prior or current PwC interns.

DEGREE SEEKING: bachelor’s, master’s
MAJOR or Minor: Accounting (CPA eligible).  Some Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems and Computer Science majors may also be considered.
GPA: 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
EXPECTED GRADUATION DATE: 12/2012 thru 8/2014
