Accounting Careers in Focus Presentations

What: The Careers in Focus program allows students to gain additional insight into the actual work done in a given position. Four to five companies will be given approximately 15 minutes each to demonstrate a typical task/analysis performed by new staff in their organization. Each company will lead off by introducing the position, its importance, and the scope of work done. The company representative will then use the remaining time to demonstrate a specific task/analysis and answer any questions. This approach allows students to see the significance of the position and the nature of the work they will be assigned at your company.
