Call for Applications: Leaders Wanted for Campus Wide Election Supervisory Board!

The Election Supervisory Board (ESB) is charged with conducting and overseeing student elections, including those required by the Student Government Constitution and by other University policy-making boards or administrative bodies that refer to the ESB in their election code. Election disputes and grievances are heard by the ESB; their decisions may be appealed through an appellate procedure as well.

To be considered for membership on the 2016-2017 ESB, please complete the application online at: https://utexas.collegiatelink.net/form/start/111500. Please note that applications open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016, and close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7. 2016. Interviews will take place November 18 – 20, 2016. Students chosen to serve on the ESB will be notified and be required to participate in a training session.

The position entails a highly concentrated period of involvement between February 10, 2017 – March 10, 2017. Upon completion of an active and engaged term with the ESB and conclusion of the campus-wide elections process, the chair, elected by the ESB, will receive $1000.00 and each member of the ESB will receive $750.00 for their service.
