Are you interested in a spring internship that allows you to apply your accounting education and learn transferable skills?  Maxwell Locke & Ritter LLP, Central Texas’ largest locally-owned public accounting firm, is seeking candidates for a spring 2017 tax internship.

This position will allow you to:

  • Apply your MPA/BBA education and gain hands-on experience during the busiest part of the year for tax professionals
  • Prepare federal income tax returns and assist in various tax consulting projects
  • Participate in client interaction opportunities
  • Collaborate with tax associates and a tax partner
  • Connect with a dedicated mentor
  • Engage in training on computer programs and tax return procedures

Applicants must:

  • Have completed individual taxation, entity taxation, and tax research or have had a prior internship or tax work experience if not all the classes have been taken.
  • Be either a BBA or MPA candidate or recent graduate.  3rd year MPA’s going through the mini-mesters are welcome to apply.
