University-wide Commencement Ceremony and Ticket Information
The University-wide Commencement Ceremony of The University of Texas at Austin is held each spring to mark the completion of another academic year in the life of the institution and to celebrate the cumulative accomplishment of a distinguished community of scholars as they transition from students to alumni. The 132nd Spring University-wide Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
The commencement address will be given by Darren Walker, president of the Ford Foundation. This memorable evening will include musical performances from the Butler School of Music, commencement traditions, and will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display from the Tower.
Degree candidates participating in the University-wide Commencement ceremony are required to present a ticket when lining up for the Grand Procession. Tickets are for degree candidates only and are free of charge. Tickets are not required for guests. Tickets are not available by phone. They must be picked up in person by presenting a UT ID.
Procession tickets may be picked up at the following locations beginning Tuesday, May 19:

Bass Concert Hall
(23rd Street and Robert Dedman Drive)
Open 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday
Special hours Friday, May 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Frank Erwin Center North Box Office
(1701 Red River Street)
Box Office is located on the upper level, and adjacent to Parking Lot 118 near John Hargis Hall.
Open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday
Special hours and location for Saturday, May 23: Red River Box Office (Located on street level) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
