The last event of this year in the VIP Distinguished Speakers Series is Tuesday, April 14th at 5:30 p.m. in the South SAC Ballroom with the CEO of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Scott Serota.

Scott Serota is President and Chief Executive Officer of the BlueCross BlueShield Association (BCBSA). Serota was named BCBSA President and CEO in 2000, after serving four years as a senior executive, including two years as Chief Operating Officer. Before that, he was Executive Vice President for System Development, responsible for new business, strategy and the Blue Technology Evaluation Center, the nation’s leading source for evaluating the safety and efficacy of emerging medical treatments.

This speaker series involves inviting C-Level executives from companies all over the nation to come and speak to the students, faculty, and staff at UT Austin. These executives share their Views, Insights, and Perspectives with everyone in attendance.  VIP Events truly are one-of-a-kind when compared to all other undergraduate programs in the nation!

Try to arrive about 15 minutes early in order to secure a seat, as these events tend to fill up fast.
