We asked Max a few things to get to know him. Let’s see what we have in common…

  • Why did you become an MPA student?
    I became an MPA student because I wanted to change careers out of sales and into accounting. I loved the city of Austin the few times I visited, and I saw the MPA program as a great way to gain both accounting and taxation expertise.
  • Why did you become a PCC?
    I believe many of the students who attend the MPA program do so in order to better their career opportunities. I see the PCC position as a great way to help fellow classmates realize their goals.
  • What hobbies/interests do you have?
    I enjoy watching football, playing sports, and reading nonfiction.
  • Do you have any pets (names, ages, etc.)?
    I don’t have any pets.
  • If you weren’t at work right now, what would you be doing?
    Studying (of course)!
  • If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?
    A lake house and a boat.
  • Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
    Rust Cohle from True Detective!
