Brian Lendecky was chosen to receive the Outstanding Faculty Award for the class of 2015 by the Texas Executive MBA at Mexico City. The internationally-ranked Executive MBA is designed for mid-career professionals and executives who want to stay close to home, but still earn a U.S. MBA. Brian teaches both Financial and Managerial Accounting at the Tecnológico de Monterrey – Campus Santa Fe.

Bob George was recently appointed to chair The University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston Institutional Audit Committee. The Committee is an important component of the risk management and internal control infrastructure of UTHealth.

Established in 1972 by The University of Texas System Board of Regents, UTHealth is Houston’s Health University and Texas’ resource for health care education, innovation, scientific discovery and excellence in patient care.

William Kinney was selected to speak at the “Leading Accounting Scholars Symposium Series” at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. The two-day seminar workshop was on Planning for Research Success in Accounting. Professor Kinney was the Inaugural speaker for the event, a perfect choice due to his leading the development of research on auditing and related accounting phenomena for fifty years.
