The TVL Accelerator connects innovative startups from across Texas with multi-disciplinary teams of graduate students in our unique campus-wide course, the Startup Consulting Practicum. Mu’id Mecca Medical Corporation is a mission-driven pediatric health innovation company focused on dignified, non-invasive solutions for babies born with cleft conditions. Our flagship device is designed to replace traditional adhesive-based methods used in pre-surgical care with a safer, gentler alternative. Founded in 2024, the company is pre-revenue and actively engaged in regulatory strategy, clinical partnership development, and early-stage funding efforts. Our goal is to license the product to hospitals and clinics globally, ensuring accessibility through nonprofit and insurance-backed models.

The experience led to the creation of Wild Horizon’s flagship product—a modern take on traditional pemmican, combining grass-fed beef, healthy fats, and berries into a convenient, shelf-stable bar.
