Calling all student entrepreneurs, are you looking for more opportunities to pitch your startup and grow your entrepreneurial network? Applications just opened for the 2025 Rice Business Plan Competition at Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship. The RBPC is the world’s premiere graduate-level student startup competition, and will be held April 10-12, 2025, at Rice University in Houston, Texas. 42 graduate student-led, early-stage companies will be invited to pitch their business ventures and vie for over $1 million in prizes.

Join the GSLI and Texas Venture Labs for an early stage pitch workshop with expert Kevin Koym, the founder of sustainability entrepreneurship accelerator Tech Ranch. Tech Ranch is recognized as one of the top three impact-focused accelerators in the world and has worked with over 750 companies in 42 countries. On February 20th at 5pm in RRH 3.406, Kevin will share his secrets to structuring a pitch, weaving impactful stories through it, and preparing for tough questions. We will have a networking and heavy appetizer period before the event from 5-5:30 p.m. next to the room. Kevin will speak at 5:30.
