The TVL Accelerator connects innovative startups from across Texas with multi-disciplinary teams of graduate students in our unique campus-wide course, the TVL Practicum. These incredible startup ventures are able to leverage the high-impact consulting and market research conducted by their student teams to take their businesses to the next level. RE Analytics helps small to mid-size real estate investment companies assess the risk and profitability of their real estate portfolios. We use a proprietary platform to aggregate property and financial data. We manage all of the data and analytics and serve as a “back office” resource for companies who do not want to purchase/implement ERP software or hire financial analysts.

Synvect is a pioneering bioengineered mosquito control solution designed to eradicate mosquito-borne diseases. The company successfully raised a $3M seed round, backed by prominent investors including the Gates Foundation, Antler, & Nufund. Synvect has already secured key partnerships with renowned organizations such as Four Seasons and Rentokil, expanding its reach in TX, CA, & FL.

Nutri is a point-of-care software that helps healthcare providers effectively address nutrition with patients. Nutri collects and synthesizes patient diet data alongside evidence-based recommendations. Then, Nutri’s user-centered design guides patients and providers through a goal-setting process to help select a personalized diet goal for the patient.

Longhorn Life Sciences (LLS) was founded by a multidisciplinary team from UT Austin and MD Anderson. Surgical site infections pose a clinical need, with 60% of infections identified after the patient leaves the hospital. LLS is developing “iDetect”, a remote wound monitoring system that provides clinicians and patients with an early warning of infections and enables proactive interventions.

Verified Carbon LLC is a Texas-based company specializing in Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology and geological carbon storage. It develops scalable carbon removal facilities powered by renewable energy, delivering premium carbon credits. Its flagship project, Project Concho, will remove up to 500,000 tons of CO₂ annually, leveraging subsurface expertise and strategic partnerships.

Cornerspice connects local cooks with neighbors who want fresh, home-cooked meals. Cooks can list their dishes, earn money, and even rent kitchens when needed. We handle payments and orders, so cooks focus on cooking and customers enjoy great food nearby. It’s all about supporting local talent and building community. Also, it would be great if we could update the company logo. I have attached two images, a round and a square one, to this effect.
