Meet the Fall 2024 TVL Accelerator Cohort!

The TVL Accelerator connects innovative startups from across Texas with multi-disciplinary teams of graduate students in our unique campus-wide course, the TVL Practicum. These incredible startup ventures are able to leverage the high-impact consulting and market research conducted by their student teams to take their businesses to the next level. Our TVL Accelerator alumni companies represent a diverse range of industries, founders, and technologies which is again reflected in these 12 new portfolio companies. We are proud to announce the Fall 2024 cohort and look forward to working with them this semester!

 

 

BeamBloxx is developing smart laser safety goggles that allow for real-time laser visualization, enhancing workplace safety and productivity. The ergonomic safety goggles feature integrated cameras for laser detection, custom safety applications, and advanced data analytics tools. BeamBloxx’s technology will target R&D companies, the military, and pilots by enhanced safety and compliance.

Facilimax, Inc. is a commercial real estate data aggregation platform that enhances transparency in building operations through its digital twin system. The platform consolidates data from various sources, including energy, water, and gas consumption, work orders from property management systems, IoT device data, and supplier information. This aggregation provides a comprehensive view, offering building owners and managers a single-pane of glass for their building’s operations.

Financial Aid Frenzy is a fundraising platform that provides students with an alternative solution for funding post secondary education. Students can leverage their network and enable small contributions to make a big impact on their future. Eliminating the financial barriers prevalent in accessing education, a challenge 75% of Americans  face, will help to limit the wealth gap in our country.

Fresnel, Inc. explains “we live in a world where robotic systems have limited run time, range and payload capacity constrained by their battery capacity. So they need to make return trips to their dock for recharge, refuel or battery swap.” Fresnel is eliminating their return trip by building a wireless power network to charge robots safely over long distances while they’re in motion using microwaves.

KogniQ offers the industry’s first AI-powered digital mentor. The platform leverages unused organizational metadata and digital exhaust to transform it into actionable insights, addressing critical communication gaps, optimizing workflows, and enhancing team collaboration.

Particles of Color is a research lab directed by Dr. Jessica Ciarla dedicated to innovating the sustainable sequin and fashion material industry by creating plant-derived materials in a colorful spectrum of embellishments for a vast customer demographic.

SmartPath is a platform designed to assist parents in navigating the complexities of home education. Home education is seeing dramatic growth, with estimates of 10 million homeschooled children in the US, double what it was in just 2019. Starting with an AI-powered curriculum builder, SmartPath helps parents select the best home education options for their children’s needs.

mBrace3D Ltd. is a private limited company which develops and markets state-of-the-art finite element analysis software for curved steel bridges. It was founded in 2020 following Paul Biju-Duval’s PhD completion at the University of Texas at Austin in Fall 2017.

LegalMente AI democratizes legal services using Artificial Intelligence. The solution provides automated contract review, an AI chatbot and more. The mission is to lower legal costs for small to medium-sized businesses. Not everyone can afford an Ivy League lawyer, but everyone will be able to afford LegalMente AI.

They develop integrated software solutions that streamline health monitoring, improve communication, and organize digital content, making technology more accessible and effective. Humuli is committed to redefining how people interact with technology.
