The Lodge Innovation Scholars Program is open to current graduate students from the McCombs School of Business. Recipients participate in a $5,000/semester funded, investment analyst internship at Texas Innovation Center to gain experience with technology commercialization and business development of startup companies within UT’s portfolio. These companies are deep tech, ranging in everything from alternative energy and advanced materials to AI/ML and robotics. Applications are due by Monday, October 30. The Texas Innovation Center is accepting applications for the Spring 2024 cohort of the Texas Biodesign Program, a nine-week, intensive workshop designed to help faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and MBAs utilize the Biodesign process for assessing and innovating commercial opportunities. Participants work in cross-functional teams of four, including a seasoned Dell Med or MD Anderson clinician, and are mentored by Stanford Biodesign coaches with significant entrepreneurial experience. Upon completion, teams are eligible to apply for $5,000 Seed funding award. Applications are due by Friday, November 11. Interested candidates can apply here.
