BA 353H Internship: What you need to know!

We’ve received a lot of questions recently regarding the internship course, BA 353H. So here’s what you need to know: All BHP students are required to complete the internship course (pass/fail only) in order to graduate. The internship requires the completion of 160 work hours and attendance at a mandatory internship orientation with Dr. Cox. In addition, students must turn in a detailed journal describing daily internship activities, an employer documentation form, an internship summary form, a current resume, and a term paper describing the student’s internship experience and its impact on the student’s career plans. All materials must be submitted in a three-ring term paper cover by September 15th (if completed internship in summer), November 15th (if completed in fall), or April 15th (if completed in spring). All internships must be approved BEFORE the student begins his/her internship at the following link: http://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/udean/advising/internships/register.asp.
