Grant Sullivan, BBA ’05

Grant Sullivan, BBA ’05, was appointed as a judge to the Colorado Court of Appeals by Colorado Governor Jared Polis on November 9, 2023. He previously served as a litigation attorney with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office for more than 12 years.

Class Note: Matthew Chee, BBA ’99

Matthew Chee, BBA ’99, was appointed Senior Vice President of Growth at Charge Enterprises, Inc. With a rich background as Charge’s Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions since 2020, Chee’s expanded role will leverage his two decades of industry experience to drive growth. In this position, he will oversee marketing and sales strategies, new business development, relationship and people management, internal sales, budget, and marketing reporting systems, along with his current M&A responsibilities.

Khary Scott, BBA ’95, is now the Senior Vice President, Head of Co-Brand Partnership Development at Atlanticus Holdings Corporation since October 25, 2023. With over two decades in financial services, Khary held key roles at Capital One, Fundbox, and Imprint. Khary looks forward to contributing to the mission of creating inclusive financial services.

With his extensive financial and operational leadership experience, Burt is set to play a pivotal role in strengthening Pushpay’s balance sheet and accelerating business growth.

Jeena Lee, BBA ’08, has been recently recognized as one of the “Tri-Valley 20 Under 40ish” honorees by the Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group and the San Francisco Business Times. This recognition celebrates emerging leaders like Jeena who are contributing to the Tri-Valley region’s vision of becoming an innovation hub. Jeena, a Product Manager at Chevron, joins a diverse group of honorees from various industries. Congratulations to Jeena on this well-deserved recognition.

Kevin Hamilton, BBA ’99, has been appointed as the VP of Global Marketing and Communications for the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) and the North American Blueberry Council (NABC). In this role, Hamilton will lead global brand marketing and consumer public relations efforts to promote blueberry growth and profitability. With over two decades of marketing experience, he brings extensive expertise to the position.

About the board:
The McCombs School of Business BBA Advisory Board was formed in 2008 to assist the dean, associate dean of undergraduate programs, faculty, and staff of the McCombs School of Business in achieving and maintaining “best of class” status for the BBA programs. This diverse group of individuals ensures the integrity of the BBA Advisory Board mission by supporting the strategy planning, curricula, external affairs, alumni engagement, fundraising efforts, and student placement. The Executive Committee receives rolling applications throughout the year with consideration for membership in the spring. The new members of the BBA Advisory Board begin their three-year terms the following September.

Class Note: Dalton J. Potts, BBA ’14

Dalton J. Potts, BBA ’14, has been recently appointed Vice President in the Transactions Team at 3 Rivers Capital, a private equity firm based in Dallas-Fort Worth. Potts brings a wealth of experience to the firm, where in his role he’ll play a key part in investment activities, including transaction evaluation, business development, and portfolio management.

Class Note: Lois Folger, BS ’84 & MS ’95, and Richard Folger, BBA ’81 & BS ’84

Lois Folger, BS ’84 & MS ’95, and Richard Folger, BBA ’81 & BS ’84, have established a transformative legacy at the University of Texas at Austin by contributing a remarkable $10 million endowment. This endowment, named the Lois and Richard Folger Athletics Director Endowment, is the largest of its kind nationally. It will provide perpetual funding for non-salaried strategic initiatives under the athletics director’s guidance, fostering innovation and enhancing the excellence of Texas Athletics. This contribution is a testament to their ongoing support, having previously established endowed chair positions across multiple disciplines at UT.
