The Fall 2021 Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (TVLIC) was held today at Robert B. Rowling Hall. TVLIC mimics the real-world process of raising venture capital. Graduate students from the University of Texas System present their ideas for new businesses and receive invaluable feedback from entrepreneurs and investors. Many TVLIC competitors go on to launch their businesses and countless other leverage the experience in their careers as leaders in their fields.

In today’s triumphant return to an in-person pitch event, 20 of the top graduate student startup companies competed for over $50,000 in cash awards and follow-on support. After the field was narrowed in the morning’s semifinal found, the four division winners went head to head in the finals, where they pitched on the big stage in Crum Auditorium. The audience was treated to a tremendous group of entrepreneurs sharing their plans for how they will turn their aspirations into the next big startup to come out of the University of Texas at Austin.

Bold Move Beverages is looking to change the game for coffee lovers who enjoy socially drinking with their friends and family. We combine specialty cold brew coffee & aged whiskey to create Cold Brooze, a best-in-class ready to drink canned cocktail concept for consumers who don’t compromise on quality experiences & products.
