We welcome these innovative companies who have been selected for our upcoming cohort!

These 14 startup ventures were selected from a highly competitive field of applicants and represent some of the finest early-stage ventures that are being developed around Austin. They will be working with multi-disciplinary teams of graduate students from The University of Texas at Austin to solve business challenges and accelerate growth. This relationship between the highly talented grad students and amazing startups has helped our alumni companies raise nearly $800 million in funding over the 10 years we have been operating our accelerator. We are sure to see more of this and the resulting economic development from this Spring 2020 cohort, as well!

Blacktop is a business intelligence software designed for the 16,800 U.S. franchise automobile dealers. It will aggregate data from silos it currently lives in, mine data for profit leaks and opportunities, and deliver intelligent decisions for dealership personnel through data “stories” that are easy to understand and act upon.

 

Blink AI provides omni channel communication and marketing platforms to Automotive Industry customers. They help both OEM and Dealers by connecting with their customers at dozens of the most critical moments in the ownership life cycle.

 

Choose Health develops and markets at-home, internal health testing products to enable users to track and improve a core panel of biomarkers linked to chronic disease and long term health. With a simple, affordable virtual lab testing and tracking service that monitors the key markers of physical health, users learn how these are impacted by their lifestyle and how they can improve from the inside out.

Detecting Talent is a cloud-based HR software solution that redefines how data is used to solve one of the most pressing problems facing companies today – Employee Retention. They employ AI and Machine Learning to transform employee data into meaningful, actionable insights.

 

Laundris is “Linen Management on Auto-Pilot” with a patent pending smart linen service. They provide a pioneering and innovative process for smart commercial laundry service that eliminates the uncertainty of a highly manual and chaotic process and allows for precision, predictability and accurate forecasting of inventory and assets.

 

Nada is a vertically integrated real estate tech company that leverages technology and affordable prices to provide consumers an end-to-end buying, selling and owning experience.

 

Ploto provides a platform with customizable solutions for brands, event marketing agencies and organizations to design and deploy Direct To Consumer (DTC) campaigns that generate consumer connection, trust and actionable business intelligence. Their DTC framework provides clients the tools needed to generate custom campaigns and learn more about their consumer base and improve the Life Time Value (LTV) of their connections without depending on third party data providers, like social media platforms.

 

Provene provides a Software as a Service (SaaS), web-based tool and platform designed to help behavioral and medical healthcare providers efficiently and effectively communicate and coordinate care. CleanTrac has customizable real-time capabilities to connect resources, observe behavior, measure outcomes, proactively intervene and develop best practices throughout the continuum of care.

 

PurPics is an Austin-based peer influencer platform redesigning the way brands engage GenZ/college students. They provide brands with access to a growing network of Gen Z influencers at college campuses across the country with a combined reach of over 30 million. Their users generate 10x the engagement of typical Instagram marketing strategies. They have worked with brands like Lime Scooters, Clif Bar, Shake Shack, Soylent, Vita Coco and many others.

Wilder Systems is expanding the range of feasible robotic applications by introducing collaborative, multi-functional robots into aerospace manufacturing. Their cost-effective robotics help aircraft manufacturers who want to improve productivity, quality and ergonomics.

Winter Haven Capital Winter Haven Capital is an innovative, dynamic fin-tech start-up selling an equity trading platform with better risk management capabilities and methodology, the QuanTiles Analytics platform, an automated solution which provides executable insights and allows retail investors to hedge their long equity portfolio.

 

ZipcodeXpress is an Austin-based tech company focused on last-mile delivery using a smart locker based logistics platform. Now Class B and C apartments can turn package delivery from a cost center into a revenue center by providing the tenants with the option to pay for self-service, smart lockers. ZipcodeXpress also helps enterprises with asset management by using their smart lockers to automate asset check-in and out process.
