Are you still looking for a job after graduating? Are you interested in entering a brand new field in healthcare? As a college graduate, you are eligible to apply for the Advanced Certificate Program in Health Information Technology (HIT) at the University of Texas-Austin.

The Health IT Program at UT Austin has gained national attention for its intensive, 9-week certification program. Last summer, more than 92% of eligible graduates were offered jobs in Health IT. This past summer almost 70% of our graduates had job offers within 30 days.  Just this month (November 2011) the HIT program at Austin granted certificates to 54 students and arranged over 250 interviews, for our program graduates, with 20 potential employers. Our graduates are in high demand among electronic health record companies, hospitals, physician practices and healthcare consulting groups. Starting salary is, on average $50,000!

Tens of thousands of Health IT jobs will be created over the next 5 years, and there is a national shortage of well-trained, entry-level professionals. If you are ready to take the first step to enter the hottest field in healthcare, apply now at the link below! All majors welcome to apply. Click here to apply.

Partial tuition scholarships are available for those who qualify. The Spring 2012 Certificate program begins on January 10 and applications are being taken on a rolling basis. This opportunity is limited to 55 students.
