This summer 33 students, including two from McCombs, participated in the BBA Global Business Program on the UT campus. The four-week program brings university students from Austria, Brazil and China to build management skills and get intensive intercultural exposure.

U.S News and World Report ranked the McCombs School of Business the sixth best business program in its 2010 survey of undergraduate programs. McCombs is tied for third among public schools, and this marks the 11th year in a row for McCombs to place seventh or higher in the U.S. News rankings.

Michael Granof, the Ernst & Young Distinguished Centennial Professor of Accounting, has been appointed to the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) for a five-year term that runs until June 30, 2014.

Texas Rises in Forbes Ranking of Full-Time MBAs

In Forbes magazine’s 2009 ranking of MBA programs across the country, the full-time Texas MBA was listed at 11 overall, and second among public schools. In the last ranking in 2007, McCombs was 14 overall, and third among public schools.
