U.S. News Ranks McCombs 6th for BBAs

U.S. News and World Report named McCombs the number six undergraduate business school in the nation in its 2009 rankings. The accounting program maintained its first-place rank for the third year in a row. In arguably the school’s best U.S. News undergraduate rankings to date, all 12 McCombs specialties ranked in the top 10, with seven programs placing in the top five.

Accounting: 1
Entrepreneurship: 7
Finance: 4
Insurance: 5 (tied)
International Business: 5
Management: 3
MIS: 3
Marketing: 3
Production / Operations Management: 6
Quantitative Analysis: 7 (tied)
Real Estate: 10
Supply Chain Mgmt / Logistics: 10

The undergraduate rankings are determined by assessments from business school deans and senior faculty from accredited undergraduate business programs across the country.

    Any school that can churn out so many graduates and remain a top-ranked institution speaks volumes about its business program. If it was a small, intimate business school there would be no other to whom it would compare! Apparently, even now, if is difficult!

    *yawn* Another year, another top ranking. . It’s pretty clear McCombs is a top 10 program every year. I know that even here in San Francisco, a UT-Austin business degree is acccorded respect frequently reserved for Ivys. Hook ‘Em!
