The Austin Business Journal invited Lynn Slattery, assistant director of executive development programs for Texas Executive Education, to moderate a panel at its 14th annual Profiles in Power awards celebration July 24.
The panel, titled “Women’s Leadership Institute, Education and Training,” included executive education alumna Dannielle O’Donnell, current student Hema Reddy and continuing education advocate Norma Dorst. Slattery and the panelists discussed the role education has played in the development and direction of each of their careers. The panel also addressed tools for growing a career, such as mentoring and networking opportunities, both of which are available through Texas Executive Education programs.
The Profile in Power awards honor successful female business owners or managers who have given back to the community.
