Undergrad Institution: Texas A&M University
Pre-MBA Job: National Collaboration for Youth
Summer Internship: The Ball Foundation
Concentration: Social Enterprise
My name is Stephanie Artman and I am a second year student in the Texas MBA program. I am originally from Lake Jackson, TX (45 miles south of Houston) and received my undergraduate degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University (Whoop!). My Political Science degree led me to Washington, DC to work for a national non-profit organization, the National Collaboration for Youth. Wanting to learn more about business strategy and management competencies, I began applying to MBA programs and was so excited when I was accepted to McCombs.
After living it up in DC, I found my way back to Texas and love living in Austin! I stay busy on campus with my membership in MAC, Net Impact, Graduate Women in Business, and the Graduate Consulting Group.
My favorite things to do: Watch TV, hang out with friends, eat chips and salsa, and read books for fun.
My claim to fame: I was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune AND I gave a shout-out on MTV TRL.
