Hi - I’m Liz! I came to McCombs from Washington, DC where I lived for five years, exploring the worlds of sports and online marketing. Most recently, I was a Project Manager for an online marketing firm, where I conducted brand research and implemented marketing strategies utilizing social media. An MBA was the next logical step for me in search of a strong business background that would help me enhance my marketing career.

I chose McCombs because of its reputation and program offerings, but mostly because of the people. When I came to visit Preview Weekend, I was immediately comfortable here and knew it was the right choice for me. That, and I absolutely love Austin! Since coming to McCombs, I’ve gotten involved in the Graduate Marketing Network, Graduate Women in Business, the Sports, Entertainment and Media Association and a marketing-focused PLUS project. I also don burnt orange and cheer on the Longhorns any chance I get!

When I’m not in class, you can find me swimming laps at the ridiculously amazing Gregory Gym pool, watching bad reality TV, or combing the Austin restaurant scene on my quest to find the best chips and queso that Austin has to offer.
