Hi everyone- I’m Kevin and I am a first year MBA student at the McCombs School of Business. I am originally from Hillsborough, New Jersey, however I spent the last nine years of my life studying, working and generally enjoying life in Atlanta, Georgia. I completed my undergraduate degree at Emory University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Sociology. After graduating I began a career in marketing, working first in Account Management for Bennett Kuhn Varner, Inc., followed by a brief stint at BBDO Atlanta before finally returning to Bennett Kuhn Varner, Inc. as an Analyst on the Harrah’s Entertainment account.

Business school was always a goal and as I began to research the top programs McCombs quickly rose to the top of my list. A visit to campus for my interview sealed the deal and I knew that if I was accepted I would be joining the Class of 2011. Now that I am here I plan on taking full advantage of all this program, as well as this amazing city, have to offer.

Being a career switcher, I plan on pursuing a career in Management Consulting. I plan on preparing myself for this change by participating in multiple Plus Projects and Consulting challenges during my time on campus.

Outside of school my life is consumed by sports, music, chips and salsa. Needless to say, Austin is a great fit for all of the above. I love people and I am happy to share my experience here. Let’s Blog it Out!
