The End is Near – First Semester Finals

I’m not exactly sure where this semester went. It feels like yesterday I was driving south on I-35 with the UT tower, the Texas State Capitol, the Frost Bank Tower and the rest of Austin on the horizon. And now, one entire semester in (and sadly nearly one fourth of the way through my MBA), I’m shocked at how much I’ve learned in such a short period of time (AND absolutely terrified to be tested on it with exams)!

To give you an idea of what my life has been like for the last few weeks, let’s recap:

1. I had an unfortunate incident… with a Bank of America drive through ATM. My driver’s side mirror is now hanging off the side of my cute little Honda Civic Coupe. Talk about an expensive trip to the bank!
2. I absolutely loved my downtown loft-style apartment until my phone met its fate on the concrete floors. Note: concrete LOOKS cool, but dropping things on it is pretty much a terrible idea. Which brings me to:
3. My camera completely dying on me in the middle of the GWIB holiday party.
My parents (who are wonderful!) tell me that I should put anything I can possibly break out of reach. Since I seem to bring havoc to everything I touch, I’m a little hesitant to see what finals week will bring.

It seems like my whole class is ready to be done! First semester has brought me such a wonderful experience, but on Friday at 8pm I can promise you that I will be more relieved than I’ve been in a LONG time!
