For those of you applying to be a part of the next great Texas MBA class, the upcoming Winter Break is full of opportunities for you to learn about the program—away from The University of Texas campus.
Students have wrapped up with classes for the semester and will not be on campus until late January; therefore, we will not be conducting information sessions during this time. We highly encourage prospective students to plan their visit to McCombs after the students return. The first Texas MBA Friday of 2011 will occur on January 20 and the first information session will take place on January 27. Check out our Visit McCombs page for more information.
Additionally, if you are invited to interview as part of the application process, we recommend that you interview with an alumnus in your city and plan to visit campus once school is back in session for the spring semester.
Texas MBA students will be in various cities on their winter break conducting Coffee Chats. This is a great opportunity to meet current students and learn about what it is like to be a Texas MBA. Go to the Coffee Chat page to see if there will be a coffee chat in your city and register to attend.
Also, on January 5, 2012, the Admissions Team will be hosting two separate sessions of our Admissions Office Hours chats—one geared towards International Applicants from 9-10 a.m. CST and one for Domestic Applicants from 12-1 p.m. CST. These one hour chat sessions are designed to help you get your application questions answered in order to submit your application for the Round 3 deadline of January 23, 2012 (this is the final deadline for international applicants). Register for a chat on the Online Events page.
We encourage you to take advantage of these great opportunities while our students catch a break from their studies. We look forward to seeing you on campus in the spring!
