As we’ve stated before, the best time to apply to the Texas MBA Program is when you’re ready and can put forth your best MBA application. If you find yourself ready to apply to our Texas Executive, Dallas/Fort Worth or Houston programs now, in late spring, but think you must wait until the next year’s application cycle, you may be happy to know that these programs currently have a Rolling Deadline and are still accepting applications for the fall 2017 start date. We encourage you to consider this option.

What does “Rolling Deadline” mean?

“Rolling Deadline” simply means the Admissions Committee is reviewing applications on a space-available basis. So the application will remain open until around mid-June to allow all applicants who are the best fit for our program to be placed in the class, as long as space allows.

Do I still have a chance of being accepted this late in the cycle?

In contrast to full-time programs, working professional MBA programs tend to fill up much later in the cycle. You have just as good of a chance for admission if you apply in this late round as you do in the early rounds.

If I want to apply to start this fall, what will my timeline look like?

The final date that you can take the GMAT/GRE test is June 10, 2017 and you can self-report your scores and submit your application at that time. This will allow time for us to review your application in full, conduct a possible interview, and for you to prepare to start the program in August 2017, if accepted.
