Coming up next month, the McCombs School of Business will be hosting the 10th Annual Texas MBA Diversity Forum—and we would like for you to join us!
The Diversity Forum will be held on October 20-21 and will include MBA information sessions, business school tours, class visits, faculty panels, workshops, a case discussion, MBA student and alumni panels, informal socials and other networking opportunities. Through this event, qualified students will be given the opportunity to connect with members of the McCombs community, including current students, alumni, faculty, staff and other applicants, as they learn the vital skills essential to navigating the MBA application process.
Due to space constraints, participation in the Diversity Forum is by application only. African American, Hispanic American and Native American prospective students are strongly encouraged to apply for this event, but it is open to include all prospective students with an interest in improving the diversity in business schools and in management. More details can be found on the online application page.
Just last week, Hispanic Business magazine ranked the McCombs School of Business the no. 2 best business school for Hispanic MBA students in their annual survey of graduate schools. McCombs has risen two years in a row, overtaking New York University’s Stern School of Business for the second-place spot this year. McCombs has been in the top five for 13 years in a row.
The University of Texas at Austin and the McCombs School of Business are dedicated to providing a more diverse business community, and the Diversity Forum plays a big role in helping us to achieve that goal.
We look forward to seeing you there!
