Texas Executive Education now a top 20 program globally

In the newest executive education rankings from Bloomberg Businessweek, Texas Executive Education earned the No. 15 spot in custom programs, placing among the top 20 for the first time, and 7th best among executive education programs in the United States. These rankings evaluate many international programs from the U.S. and Europe based on an in-depth survey of corporate clients and partners. The data is also factored into Bloomberg Businessweek’s “Best B-Schools” annual review, in which Texas’ McCombs School of Business is currently ranked 9th.

“We are delighted to see the rankings reflect our expanding efforts to meet global companies’ educational needs,” says Gaylen Paulson, Associate Dean and Director of Texas Executive Education. Over the past four years, Texas Executive Education has experienced a growth rate of 128 percent.

Texas Executive Education now works with more than 40 U.S. and multi-national companies to develop customized executive development programs. Industry leaders such as Royal Dutch Shell, ExxonMobil, BBVA Compass, National Oilwell Varco, USAA, Samsung, and ISNetworld are just a few of our partner organizations.

“Our customized programs are dynamic, tailored experiences that are directly relevant to the participants’ day-to-day activities,” says Chantal Delys, Assistant Dean of Texas Executive Education. “Discussions center on the actual, current issues their company is facing and that participants are managing in their jobs.”

“Our programs typically include highly individualized, interactive techniques such as customized vignettes, commissioned case studies, role plays, and personalized coaching,” says Nancy Nagle, Director of Custom Programs. “All these lead to a different kind of learning and promote direct, on-the-job application.”
